Question: Does the window affect passenger visibility?
Answer: We have sight seeing operators using our split window door kit and have stated that novice and professional photographers have no restriction viewing or taking photographs while sitting in the right middle seat.
Question: Is there a less expensive version of this Quickex mod.
Answer: Yes - We initially designed this Quikex kit to capture ALL of the FAR 23 build requirements to satisfy Transport Canada's expectations for the issuance of the Alternate Means of Compliance (AMOC) to TCCA Airworthiness Directive (AD) CF2020-10. Since, having listened to operators outside of Canada who love the simplicity, enhanced safety and functionality of Quikex, and where the TCCA AD CF2020-10 is not applicable, we realize that they do not require all of the Quikex kit contents (placarding, seat stop, associated paperwork, etc) to encompass the core design of our Quikex kit. We have therefore applied to split our STC's into two kits option. See the "Details" tab for further information.
Question: Can Canadian registered Cessna 206 aircraft return to 6 seats with the Quikex kit installed?
Answer: Yes - and it is captured in two parts.
Question: What is the time required for installation?
Answer: Coast Dog Aviation quotes 16-18 hours for the installation of this kit. Note - this does not include time for final finish (paint, etc.)
Question: What currency is accepted?
Answer: We deal internationally and base the currency in USD.
Question: What is the delivery time for the kit?
Answer: We generally have kits in stock ready to ship, however with varying order volumes there may by a few week delay based on manufacturing lead times.

Question: Can Canadian registered Cessna 206 aircraft return to 6 seats with the Quikex kit installed?
Answer: Yes - and it is captured in two parts.
- For all aircraft listed in the TCCA STC, other than the 206H and T206H, your 5 seat limitation is a restriction of AD CF2020-10. Your approval to return to 6 seats with our Quikex kit installed is part of our AMOC to AD CF2020-10
- For 206H and T206H operators, your 5 seat limitation is a restriction within the Transport Canada Cessna 206H, T206H Type Certificate A-212. Your approval to return to 6 seats with our Quikex kit installed is directly reference on our Canadian Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) SA20-34 that supercedes the 5 seat limitation in TCCA TCDS A-212.
